What this tool is, in four steps.

Export the match. From Wyscout or Hudl, the match event export as .json. One match per file.
Drop it in. It is read here, on your machine, and only the counted summary — around 23 KB of the 1.6 MB — is sent. If the file cannot be turned into a brief, this page says exactly what is missing rather than guessing.
Say which side, and who is reading. The dossier is about one team; the other is the benchmark it is measured against. Then say who it is for: a coach facing them on Saturday, a standing read on a side you are not playing yet, or your own team, scouted the way an opponent would.
Read it knowing what it is. Nobody watched this match. Every figure is counted from the file, one match, no season baseline — and the dossier says so itself, in its own header and in what it refuses to tell you.

The loop — data first, then your eyes

A provider export tells you what happened. It cannot tell you why, and nobody watched the match to write it. So the dossier carries a watch list: the questions the numbers raised and only someone watching can answer.

Every item on that list is answerable in the one match you are about to watch. Not a run of games, not a season — the ninety minutes in front of you. If a question needs a tally across matches, it does not belong on the list.

A number with no eye behind it is a guess. An eye with no number behind it is an opinion. The watch list is how you get both.
